Samannay Kshetra is an institute of folk dance and music, which has been performing various renowned festivals in national and international levels for the last 14 years. Initially, they started to perform folk dances at their local communities, then they had looked forward for national and international level platforms. They had tried to keep the traditions of folk dance and music alive, reach out as much as possible all over the world. They received many awards and conferred title in their journey of folk dance. They received Moonlight Media Special Award and conferred title of ‘Guru of Folk Dance’ under the Guru Shishya Parampara scheme started by the Ministry of Culture Govt. of India in 2008. Recently, they will receive Dr. Dolly Das Luko Ratnasorsha Award from 5th Maa 2019 (MARAMLAND asom Award) on 3rd of August.
